Weekly round-up of news: 1 May

Frank Wright, Ph.D., has 6 examples of God's Word being rejected as our foundational authority

When serving as president of the National Religious Broadcasters, my greatest concern for Christian broadcasters was not the emerging climate of censorship or even abusive hate-crimes laws. I worried about timid self-censorship among Christian leaders…… What I did not foresee was the dramatic departure from biblical truth by supposedly evangelical leaders and institutions. We are now seeing a wide-scale rejection of God’s Word as the authority for faith and practice.

We must shorten the cycle (flatten the curve) not only to save lives, but to deprive the far-left media of their desperate crisis narrative. The globalists/socialists in the media are fomenting mass hysteria through their over-the-top sensational coverage of COVID-19. I personally believe that this is intentional. The liberal press and media, these days, almost always have ulterior motives in covering events the way they do. This is no exception. As New York Governor Andrew Cuomo accurately stated this week during a press conference, “Crisis forces change!”1 The media and their political comrades on the Left understand this well and therefore operate under the guiding principle, “Never let a crisis go to waste.” The fact is, they simply can’t resist turning this health crisis into an opportunity to further their globalist/socialist agenda.

A number of recent developments help illustrate how quickly a false Messianic figure could emerge on the earth, in both religious and secular circles. Prepare to read some shocking quotes……

The fallout from British betrayal of the Mandate

The White Paper of 1939 was effectively an abrogation of the British Mandate. In a fierce debate in the House of Commons, Winston Churchill, who a year later became Prime Minister, vehemently opposed the White Paper thus: “Now there is the breach. There is the violation of the pledge. There is the abandonment of the Balfour Declaration. There is the end of the vision, of the hope, of the dream.”1…… When he was Colonial Secretary with the responsibility of implementing the Mandate for Palestine in the early 1920s, Winston Churchill had stated emphatically that the Jews were in Palestine “as of right, and not on sufferance” (1922 White Paper)

Recently, the Danish Bible Society published a new Bible known as “The Bible 2020.” It should be called the RTV (Replacement Theology Version.)…. Such a “Bible” widens the divide between Christians and Jews: At a time when antisemitism is thriving around the globe, Jewish people need to be reassured that they have Christian friends. Publishing a Bible that erases Israel is sending a clear message to the Jewish people, “We the Christians do not think that Israel is important enough to remain in the Bible.” It is a short road between a Bible without Israel and a world without Jews. This is not to say that all Christians are antisemitic, but such a document renders the relationship between genuine Christians and Jews ever so more complicated. There is apparently a Lutheran connection to this project, and that just adds oil to the fire that was started by Martin Luther at the end of His life when he wrote Of the Jews and their Lies. This doesn’t mean either that all Lutherans are antisemitic.

The coronavirus pandemic has escalated religious persecution against Christians and other minority groups abroad. Before the coronavirus became a global health crisis, more than 60 countries were already rife with mass surveillance, forced marriages, and violent attacks targeting religious minorities. But while much of the world grinds to a halt during stay-at-home orders, religious persecution is escalating at an alarming pace. The coronavirus is becoming a catalyst for faith-based discrimination internationally.

Well that was embarrassing! A push to ban home education by a fringe anti-Christian bigot at Harvard Law School backfired in spectacular fashion in recent days. It got so bad that Harvard Magazine quickly locked down the public comments section after every single comment ridiculed and debunked the article peddling the attack on homeschooling. Oops!

In a report published on Monday, the home affairs select committee calls for a raft of measures from the government, including an emergency package of funding for support services for domestic abuse victims and vulnerable children….. Multiple support services have reported a surge in calls to helplines, while the Metropolitan police said they had made 4,093 arrests for domestic abuse offences – an average of about 100 a day – since 9 March, when people with coronavirus symptoms were asked to self-isolate. Coronavirus: Tower block living 'hard on children's mental ... - A family living in a tower block have said they fear their children's mental health will suffer during lockdown.

Since he became leader a month ago, Starmer has strenuously portrayed himself as anxious to deal with the scourge of antisemitism that consumed the party under Corbyn. His instant charm offensive towards Jewish community leaders had them purring straightaway. What he says, however, is less important than what he does. And this is causing some concern. For although he has rid his shadow ministerial team of most of Corbyn’s far-left faction, he has still appointed some Labour MPs with backgrounds of deeply problematic views about Israel and the Jewish people.

The shadow justice secretary and MP for Leeds East said in an interview last year that claims he made the comments at a Labour meeting in 2014 were untrue, insisting that "it is not my view". But investigative journalist, Iggy Ostanin, shared new footage of a speech Mr Burgon made in which he is clearly heard heard telling the audience: “The enemy of the Palestinian people are Zionists and Zionism is the enemy of peace.”…. He went on: "I make no apologies, I am proud to say not only wouldn't I be a member of Labour Friends of Israel, I've never been a member of Labour Friends of Israel [...]. "Look up on the internet because it's there to see on the Labour Friends of Israel website which MPs are members [...] which Labour MPs are officers. Ask them to resign from Labour Friends of Israel to show support for all of humanity."

The government is to inject £35m into the newspaper industry via a new advertising deal and will also scrap VAT on e-newspapers from tomorrow. Chancellor Rishi Sunak has announced the government will be spending up to £35 million on newspaper advertising over the next three months as part of its COVID-19 communications campaign. The government launched its ‘All in, all together’ public information campaign through both the regional and national press earlier this month.

Their ‘Blame Boris / Brexit’ obsession is distorting debate about the coronavirus crisis. The most bitter Boris-bashing and Britain-bashing in the media and politics is part of a crusade for Remainer Revenge from those who conspired to overturn the democratic vote for Brexit – and now appear to hope that a virus can succeed where they failed.

For a writer, Philip Pullman has a surprisingly poor grasp of the English language. Boris Johnson and his government should be had up on charges of ‘conspiracy to murder’, he says, if it transpires that they refused to seek assistance from the EU in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic for ‘Brexit-related reasons’…… Where to start? First, there’s the fact that this much-vaunted procurement scheme, the only thing the middle classes of this country have talked about for weeks, has yet to deliver a single piece of PPE to any European state. One wonders if the people who demanded that we rely on the scheme might also be charged with conspiracy to murder, given that our doctors and nurses would have been waiting for weeks for masks and ventilators from the sclerotic EU.

Last night’s Newsnight featured public health physician Professor Gabriel Scally slamming the last decade of Tory rule, saying “The resilience has been stripped systematically out of the system… If you make the system as lean and emaciated as it is there will not be the public health staff there… you can’t magic them up out of nowhere”…… It came as no surprise to Guido that Newsnight failed to highlight to viewers Professor Scally’s years of Labour donations, activism and affiliations. Chinese state funds behind BBC's Attenborough series - Viewers hypnotised by the BBC's landmark series Africa, with its stunning images of fighting giraffes and baby turtles scuttling into the sea, are watching pictures partly funded by the state of China, it can be disclosed….. BBC Worldwide has also signed digital deals with the Chinese cable channels Wasu and Chunghwa to screen BBC shows, and has a similar relationship with video-on-demand sites BesTV and Qiyi (which is described as the Chinese version of American online TV platform Hulu). The millions in EU funding the BBC tried to hide - Over the last three years the BBC has secretly obtained millions of pounds in grants from the European Union. Licence fee payers might assume that the Corporation would have been compelled to disclose the source of this money in its annual reports, but they bear no trace of it specifically. In the latest set of accounts, for example, these funds are simply referred to as ‘other grant income’. Instead of making an open declaration, the BBC’s successful lobbying for this money had to be prised out of it using a Freedom of Information (FoI) request lodged for The Spectator, proving that there was never any danger of the state broadcaster’s bosses volunteering it willingly. BBC EU BIAS? How BBC charity accepted MILLIONS in EU cash - the broadcaster’s charitable arm BBC Media Action received more than £3million directly from Brussels in the financial year 2017-18.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock took the opportunity of yesterday’s Downing Street briefing to slam the BBC’s Panorama programme, saying “I’m not sure that they were a fair and objective journalistic assessment of the situation.” Panorama interviewed six Labour Party activists without informing the audience of the political background of a single participant. West Bank annexation not contingent on Palestinian state, US officials emphasize

“Our position has not changed,” a spokesperson for the US Embassy in Jerusalem told The Times of Israel on Friday. “As we have made consistently clear, we are prepared to recognize Israeli actions to extend Israeli sovereignty and the application of Israeli law to areas of the West Bank that the [Trump peace plan] foresees as being part of the State of Israel.” In exchange for American recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the areas the administration’s “Peace to Prosperity” vision earmarks as part of Israel, the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to freeze all settlement activity for the next four years in areas the plan envisions for a future Palestinian state, “and negotiate with the Palestinians in good faith on the basis of the Vision,” the spokesperson added. “This will give the Palestinians an opportunity to come to the table and negotiate a peace agreement that will result in the establishment of a state of their own. The United States stands ready and willing to offer wide-ranging assistance to facilitate a final peace agreement.”

Following Iran’s launch of the country’s first military reconnaissance satellite, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo criticized Iran’s space program as a cover for the development of ballistic missiles. “For years, Iran has claimed its space program is purely peaceful and civilian. The Trump Administration has never believed this fiction,” Pompeo said in a statement April 25. The April 22 launch of a military satellite by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps proves that “Iran’s space program is neither peaceful nor entirely civilian,” said Pompeo.

There is a growing chance that by October, the nuclear deal with Iran, otherwise known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) will be dead. Under the deal with the U.S. China, Russia, Germany, Britain and France, Iran purported to accept limitations on its nuclear program. These limitations included capping its low enriched uranium stockpiles at 300 kg, restraining its enrichment activities and accepting the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency’s right to inspect its declared and undeclared nuclear sites. In exchange, the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany agreed to cancel the Security Council sanctions resolutions that had been imposed on Iran due to its illicit nuclear activities over the previous decade. The JCPOA, which was never formally signed, was anchored in UN Security Council Resolution 2231, which was passed immediately after the JCPOA was concluded.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio doubled down on Wednesday on his controversial tweets about the city’s Jewish community, accusing mourners who gathered at the funeral of a rabbi in Brooklyn the previous day of spreading “a disease that will kill other members of the community” even if “they didn’t mean to.” On Tuesday night, de Blasio posted a tweet in response to a gathering of Hasidic Jews in the Williamsburg neighborhood for a public funeral honoring the late Rabbi Chaim Mertz, held amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Facebook has removed the official page of British antisemitic conspiracy theorist David Icke for publishing “health misinformation that could cause physical harm,” the BBC reported on Friday.

According to the report, the 68-year-old Icke — a bestselling author who believes that an alien race of humanoid reptiles secretly controls the world — has promoted a number of false claims about the coronavirus, including a charge that Jews are responsible for the pandemic.

President Trump said he would be open to bringing former national security adviser Michael Flynn back to the White House as questions emerge about how he was treated by the FBI. “I would certainly consider it,” he told reporters at the White House on Thursday. Flynn initially pleaded guilty to lying to federal agents but withdrew his plea in January and is now seeking to have the case dropped. On Wednesday, his lawyers released FBI communications they said suggest he was set up to lie when questioned three years ago about his contacts with Russian officials.

The acting director of national intelligence has decided that it's time for America to stop sharing information with countries who aren't as pro-LGBT as he is -- a view that's eerily similar to Hillary Clinton's State Department, where ideological blackmail was the order of every day....

Krystal and Saagar discuss Washington Post, NYT articles that push Joe Biden to address the Tara Reade allegations himself, and look at a Daily Beast report that details women's groups and prominent feminist figures' universal silence over the sexual assault allegations. Discuss Vice President hopeful Stacey Abrams comments corroborating Biden based on, “NYT thorough investigation,” despite the Times making edits at Biden’s request on his past inappropriate behavior with women and girls

Biden claims his Senate office records in Delaware contain nothing related to Reade, only sensitive information related to his work as a senator. Brzezinski kept pushing. “You are approving and actually calling for a search of the National Archives records of anything pertaining to Tara Reade. I’m asking why not do the same in the University of Delaware records which have raised questions because they were supposed to be revealed to the public and then they were sealed for a longer period of time?” Evaluating Tara Reade’s Sexual Assault Allegation Against Joe Biden - Based on available evidence, we can at least be nearly certain Tara Reade's story about Joe Biden has been consistent since 1993. Democrats Are Reaping The ‘Whirlwind’ Kavanaugh Warned About

The media and Democrats were enraged when Brett Kavanaugh warned that their unethical behavior against him might have consequences. They should have listened.

Communications Director of America First Action Kelly Sadler explains why the Super PAC is pushing campaign ads that they say show Joe Biden’s coziness with China, and gives insight on policy Trump is weighing to become less dependent on China as polls show Americans favor American manufacturing to Chinese outsourcing.

Americans think of the prime minister as an extremist. But on the issues that matter most, he's content to govern with Gantz…… But there's something else about this outcome that Netanyahu's American detractors need to understand. While the agreement does reaffirm the conventional wisdom that views Netanyahu as a ruthless, skilled and self-interested partisan dedicated to holding onto power at virtually any cost. Contrary to most mainstream media coverage of Israel, the deal with Blue and White leader Benny Gantz also debunks the notion that he's an extremist who is wrecking Israel by dragging it to the right, as well as sabotaging hopes of peace with the Palestinians…… That was true in 2009 when he assembled a government that included the Labor Party then led by Ehud Barak, even though he could have assembled a majority that was solely composed of right-wing and religious parties.

Lebanon's currency continued its downward spiral against the dollar on Thursday, reaching a new low amid financial turmoil in the crisis-hit country compounded by the coronavirus outbreak. The currency crash came as hundreds of Lebanese - most of them wearing face masks but few keeping a safe distance - crowded outside money transfer offices Thursday, the last day that authorities allowed dollars to be dispensed in cash to customers following new Central Bank rules……. Lebanese have been taking to the streets since October denouncing the government and banks for their inability to address the liquidity crunch and the general economic malaise, and accusing them of corruption. The coronavirus pandemic has only intensified the economic slump.

Mosques affiliated with Hezbollah were raided in the early hours of the morning after Germany entirely banned the Lebanese Shiite group from the country. The Thursday move is a major blow to Hezbollah, which enjoys large amounts of support from Iran. Previously only Hezbollah’s “military” wing was outlawed but not its “political” wing. The United States and Israel have long pushed back on those labels and said they are one in the same. Richard Grenell, who is concurrently serving as U.S. ambassador to Germany and acting director of national intelligence, accused the European Union of having an “artificial distinction” between the wings. The German interior ministry said it now viewed the totality of Hezbollah as a “Shiite terrorist organization,” according to Agence France-Presse.

A group of 10 European ambassadors, led by the UK, gave a formal protest to Israel on Thursday and stressed that annexation of parts of Judea and Samaria would destabilize the region and harm Israel’s standing in the international community, European diplomats told Barak Ravid of Channel 13 News. The ambassadors of the UK, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Deputy Ambassador of the EU gave the diplomatic protest in a Zoom conference call with the deputy director general of the Israeli foreign ministry, Anna Azari, according to the report.

If there’s any chance of global cooperation in the coronavirus fight, Bill and Melinda Gates are pinning their hopes on Europe. The first couple of Microsoft, whose foundation is the largest private underwriter of public health initiatives, are hoping the EU can step in to fill a leadership void left by the U.S. and guarantee that a vaccine or medicines, once available, are deployed fairly — especially to frontline health workers first.

William Drozdiak is nonresident senior fellow in the Center on the United States and Europe at The Brookings Institution and the author of “The Last President of Europe: Emmanuel Macron’s Race to Revive France and Save the World”….. As of now, Macron is still struggling to make his case that Europe must become an integrated political community and not devolve into a loose free-trade zone if it’s going to survive the fallout from this crisis. Over the past 70 years, the EU has thrived as one of the great success stories in ensuring peace and prosperity across much of the Continent. It would be a historic tragedy if, at a time when France is being led by its most pro-European leader in recent history, the dream of a unified Europe should vanish because of the narrow selfish interests of its wealthiest nations. Video: The Last President of Europe: Emmanuel Macron’s Race to Revive France and Save the World

The doctor-turned-Commission president struggles to revive an EU in critical condition. In reality, von der Leyen and her Commission have been flailing, with their efforts at emergency management at times unleashing new political and communications crises, and prompting distress even among commissioners, senior civil servants and other top EU officials who only want her to succeed….. EU officials, especially members of the European Parliament, made clear that they wanted Selmayr out as Commission secretary-general, and von der Leyen readily complied. But she has no aide with the stature of Lamy or Selmayr. Ironically, even some of Selmayr’s toughest critics now admit to missing his ruthless discipline and his total command over the levers of the EU machine.

A fresh flurry of grim economic data has confirmed that the global economy is falling into its worst contraction in decades, giving markets a jolt. Both France and Italy fell into recession this morning, as the latest GDP reports showed both countries had been hurt badly by lockdown measures to combat Covid-19.

Hours after data showed the worst three-month contraction in a quarter-century of statistics, President Christine Lagarde warned that the euro-area economy could shrink as much as 15% in the second quarter and 12% over the full year. The magnitude of the shock demands “an ambitious and coordinated” fiscal response, she said in a virtual press conference on Thursday. Finance ministers should “have a joint approach and show solidarity to those most affected by the crisis.”

From salt caverns in Sweden to train cars in Chicago, oil traders spent the past two months stuffing unwanted crude into any available space after demand collapsed in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. Traders called on locations they usually ignored, including barges on rivers normally used for making relatively small deliveries to inland markets. Rail cars were filled up and so were “frac” tanks, normally used for holding water and chemicals used in the hydraulic fracturing process. In late April, benchmark US crude prices fell below zero for the first time in history. Traders due to take delivery of oil at Cushing, Oklahoma, struggled to access the storage they needed, forcing them to pay rivals to take the crude off their hands. Brimming tanks and a growing armada of floating supertankers suggested that the world was running out of places to stow its fuel.

U.S. Navy sailed a second ship through the South China Seas this week, further challenging Beijing's claim to the disputed waters after the People's Liberation Army (PLA) claimed that it expelled the first ship amid escalating tensions over the disputed region and the global pandemic. The USS Barry carried out the "freedom of navigation operation" on Tuesday, the Navy said in a statement to Newsweek. Their mission was to maintain the "rights, freedoms and lawful uses of the sea recognized in international law." "Unlawful and sweeping maritime claims in the South China Sea pose an unprecedented threat to the freedom of the seas, including the freedoms of navigation and overflight and the right of innocent passage of all ships," the Navy said

Two Republican members of Congress have launched an investigation into Chinese espionage operations targeting confidential medical research performed by the National Institutes of Health, according to communications obtained exclusively by the Washington Free Beacon. Reps. Jim Banks (R., Ind.) and Mike Gallagher (R., Wis.) are petitioning NIH leaders to disclose how researchers with ties to adversarial regimes such as China continue to participate in confidential research projects and receive American grant money, according to a letter sent Thursday to NIH director Francis Collins. The lawmakers express concerns about a lack of oversight at the agency that they say might have allowed foreign spies to gain access to critical research. Chinese infiltration of the American medical research community has been a concern for federal authorities, including the FBI, for years. China has been responsible for multiple large-scale hacks on the health care industry, including patient data and medical research into cancer and other diseases.

More than a dozen countries on four continents have recently disclosed problems with Chinese-made coronavirus tests and personal protective equipment. The problems range from test kits tainted with the coronavirus to medical garments contaminated with insects. Chinese authorities have refused to take responsibility for the defective equipment and in many instances have cast blame on the countries that purchased the material. They have also called on nations of the world to stop "politicizing" the problem. WH Adviser: China Knew What Was Coming, Stockpiled Masks Before World Learned COVID Dangers - C. Douglas Golden

Thermal imaging cameras are the latest devices businesses hope will help reopen the economy while keeping people safe from the threat of COVID-19. The cameras are used to scan temperature from a safe distance, and if a fever — a common coronavirus symptom — is detected, the company could require further screening or deny the person entry altogether. "What we're seeing is there will be a new normal that will involve thermal screening as a frontline tool," Chris Bainter, director of global business development at FLIR Systems, told CBS News' Jericka Duncan. FLIR has been producing thermal imaging cameras since the SARS epidemic in 2003, when it gained widespread use in Asia. Since the outbreak, companies like Flexible Systems, Thermal Guardian, CrowdRx and many more have begun manufacturing the cameras for use in airports, healthcare centers and even apartment buildings in New York, where the pandemic has hit particularly hard.

An NHS app that alerts users to recent contacts who are infected with coronavirus will be ready for deployment within three weeks, according to the chief executive of NHSX, the digital arm of the health service……. Matthew Gould told MPs on the Commons science and technology committee on Tuesday that the contact-tracing app would be trialled in a “small area” and available for use next month provided it performed well….. The app’s developers have built the system around a “centralised” platform following discussions with advisers including GCHQ’s National Cyber Security Centre. In the centralised model, contacts are represented by an “identifier” and matched on a central computer.

Tech companies have jumped at the opportunity, with the highest-profile effort coming from Apple Inc. and Google. These tech giants aren’t alone, though. Google Plans To Launch Censored Search Engine In China, Leaked Documents Reveal (2018) - Google is Planning to launch a censored version of its search engine in China that will blacklist websites and search terms about human rights, democracy, religion, and peaceful protest, The Intercept can reveal. The project – code-named Dragonfly – has been underway since spring of last year, and accelerated following a December 2017 meeting between Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai and a top Chinese government official, according to internal Google documents and people familiar with the plans. Google Employees Uncover Ongoing Work On Censored China Search (2019) - The group has identified ongoing work on a batch of code that is associated with the China search engine, according to three Google sources.

Billionaire Clive Palmer says the reason he bought 32 million doses of hydroxychloroquine to combat coronavirus is because if Australia was going to be severely hit by the virus he "didn't want to see our nation destroyed in the longer term". Mr Palmer acquired in March 32.9 million doses of the anti-malarial drug for treating Australians "free of charge" according to Sky News host Alan Jones.

In some quarters President Trump is being skewered for pushing the drug hydroxychloroquine to counter COVID-19. Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Cal.), for example, chastises Trump for “pushing this drug.... He’s got to stop—we don’t want a drug pusher for president.” She doesn’t know it, of course, but this drug is saving unknown numbers of patients who might otherwise die. Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is not categorically opposed to the drug but suggests some resistance to its use. He frequently cites the Food and Drug Administration’s mandate that before a drug can be generally prescribed, it must clear three sets of clinical trials to prove that it’s safe and effective. This usually takes one to one-and-half years and requires randomized, double-blind, placebo tests. Too bad for the patients who get the placebo. Fauci throws cold water on Trump's declaration that malaria drug chloroquine is a 'game changer'

Fauci says chloroquine (hydroxychloroquine) hasn't been studied on coronavirus.

Hope soared nonetheless. The F.D.A. is likely to issue an emergency approval, a senior official said. Modest results from a federal trial of an experimental drug helped send the stock market soaring on Wednesday, another sign of the desperation for a viable treatment against the coronavirus…… Later, in a briefing at the White House, Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said the trial had shown that treatment with the drug could modestly speed recovery in patients infected with the coronavirus. Leaked Study Data Finds No Benefits Of Remdesivir On Coronavirus Patients, Sending Gilead Stock Tumbling - The results of a Chinese clinical trial on the effectiveness of Gilead Sciences' antiviral drug remdesivir as a COVID-19 coronavirus treatment found no benefits on patients and sent the biotech company's stock tumbling Thursday, though Gilead is challenging the data….. Gilead challenged the results in an emailed statement, however, deeming them "inconclusive" given the clinical trial was ended early resulting in low enrollment, though it noted there were trends suggesting potential benefit for patients who received treatment early. Gates Foundation enlists Novartis, GSK, others in COVID-19 fight - The global collaboration brings together several pharmaceutical giants to accelerate the development and delivery of coronavirus tests and therapies…..The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has brought together a collective ... Boehringer Ingelheim, bioMerieux, Eisai, Eli Lilly, Gilead, GSK, J&J. United States v. Gilead: The Fight for PrEP - The Department of Health and Human Services’ patent suit against Gilead made headlines earlier this month (as described here and here). The government seeks damages for Gilead’s alleged infringement of HHS patents covering PrEP drugs for HIV prevention. The suit could set novel precedent in the realm of drug patent litigation – after all, very rarely does the government assert a patent against a large pharmaceutical company.

In this exclusive interview with The New American, Dr. Karladine Graves, a high-profile medical doctor who has been providing information and advice to the White House on coronavirus and other issues, slams the willingness of Americans to trade their liberty for supposed safety. She also slammed Dr. Anthony Fauci, questioning whether he has a conflict of interest. In particular, Dr. Graves believes the government should get out of the way and let doctors deal with their patients. She also supports the use of hydroxychloroquine, despite the Democrats and others trying to stop its use.

Over the past few weeks, a theory about the involvement of Microsoft founder Bill Gates in the creation and spread of the coronavirus has been actively discussed on the Internet, especially in America…… Numerous liberal media outlets rushed to assure their readers that Gates’s accusers were spreading debunked and baselessly conspiracy theories….. Bill Gates appears to be the embodiment of the American dream, a self-made man who pulled himself up by the bootstraps. However, since the revelations of Snowden and Julian Assange, many reputable experts have questioned that American big tech companies like Microsoft are truly independent from the government, and in particular, the deep state and military industrial complex. For instance, according to Edward Snowden, Microsoft allowed the NSA to collect communications data for analysis. The connections run deep.

The software mogul’s sway over the World Health Organization spurs criticism about misplaced priorities and undue influence. Some billionaires are satisfied with buying themselves an island. Bill Gates got a United Nations health agency in Geneva. Over the past decade, the world’s richest man has become the World Health Organization’s second biggest donor, second only to the United States and just above the United Kingdom. This largesse gives him outsized influence over its agenda, one that could grow as the U.S. and the U.K. threaten to cut funding if the agency doesn’t make a better investment case.

A wide group of international aid and development organisations and academics today urged the UK government ensure that any Covid-19 vaccines developed with UK taxpayers’ money are produced ‘patent-free’ to prevent Big Pharma corporations profiteering from them. The open letter is signed by more than 20 organisations including Global Justice Now, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Access Campaign, MSF UK and Oxfam GB [1]. In it, the group commends the government’s £250 million-plus research funding for a Covid-19 vaccine, but warns that without safeguards Big Pharma could monopolise access to any resulting drugs, setting a price unaffordably high, and preventing billions of people from receiving it. The letter calls on the UK government to guarantee equitable access to any new drug by imposing strict public interest conditions on all UK funding, as well as supporting a proposal from the President of Costa Rica for a ‘global patent pool’ [2]. This would allow all technologies designed for the detection, prevention, control and treatment of Covid-19 to be openly available, making it impossible for any one company or country to monopolise them.

With assets of $43.5 billion, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is the largest charitable foundation in the world. It is arguably the most influential actor on issues of global health and agriculture, and distributes more aid for global health than any government. Perhaps what is most striking about the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is that despite its aggressive corporate strategy and extraordinary influence across governments, academics and the media, there is an absence of critical voices. Global Justice Now is concerned that the foundation’s influence is so pervasive that many actors in international development, which would otherwise critique the policy and practice of the foundation, are unable to speak out independently as a result of its funding and patronage.

Who is Bill Gates? A software developer? A businessman? A philanthropist? A global health expert? This question, once merely academic, is becoming a very real question for those who are beginning to realize that Gates' unimaginable wealth has been used to gain control over every corner of the fields of public health, medical research and vaccine development. And now that we are presented with the very problem that Gates has been talking about for years, we will soon find that this software developer with no medical training is going to leverage that wealth into control over the fates of billions of people.

By now it is no secret the World Health Organization and the United Nations are among the many organizations funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. In previous reports we have extensively documented Gates global vaccination programs and their connections to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals under the 2030 Agenda. In this report, we document how Bill Gates is not only working to fulfill the UN's global vaccine program, but how Gates is also working to take control of the food supply chain globally, a long desired achievement of the UN. Also find out about the mandatory vaccination policy being kept under wraps in addition to another Gates funded venture to blanket the earth with real time surveillance from space The above link covers the following:

- Bill Gates funds the largest known research to geoengineer the climate by using planes that would fly at high altitudes, spraying millions of tons of particles around the planet to create a massive chemical cloud that would cool the surface. - Bill Gates funds (£1.2billion) a major initiative to produce lab grown meat. - Funded by Bill Gates, EarthNow, wants to show us every inch of our planet in real-time. EarthNow hopes to deploy a vast network of satellites to livestream Earth.

- Bill Gates funds Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) i.e the control and production of food supply. These organisations that he is funding are agricultural conglomerates who control the production, supply and demand for food by exploiting African, Indian, South American farmers, and the western markets through GMO and pesticide in farming. These companies are Bayer and Monsanto. It is hardly surprising that the first thing Bayer did after completing their takeover of Monsanto earlier this month was to announce that they were dropping the Monsanto name, merging the two companies' agrichemical divisions under the Bayer Crop Science name. After all, as everyone knows, Monsanto is one of the most hated corporations in the world. But Bayer itself has an equally atrocious history of death and destruction. Together they are a match made in hell.
