We are living in prophetic times. There is “something in the air,” and many people feel the change that’s coming. Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled very quickly, and that’s exactly what Scripture says will happen. It will be slow for a long time, but then the events will happen faster and with more intensity. There are many who deny it or just don’t believe that we are nearing the end. We always think that monumental events are meant for another time and another place. That thought can encourage a denial of Biblical truth and a feeling that everything is just as it always was. That feeling is, in fact, fulfillment of prophecy. Peter said that there would be scoffers in the latter days who think things are just “business as usual.” “This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: that ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation” (2 Peter 3:1-4).
Viral Christian video spreads the wrong message
These glorious and uplifting words, that we all want for ourselves and our nation, are sung by individuals who have videoed themselves separately (in adherence to social distancing guidelines). All these individual videos have then been skilfully edited together to create a beautiful choir of many voices. The church where each individual singer is a member is stated on the screen as a way of indicating just how everyone has come together in a spirit of unity to participate in this blessing of the nation.….. The Lord is returning soon, but before he does, he wants to discipline and purify his Church and equip it to declare his love to this nation before it’s too late; his true love, not an empty and sentimental excuse for love that sings a vacuous song of blessing over a rebellious nation. Scripture provides no mandate for such behaviour; it’s an unbiblical practice that’s an inevitable consequence of unbiblical doctrine.
There is an interesting case out of San Francisco where one of the oldest churches is suing Zoom Video Communications, Inc. after bible classes were interrupted by pranksters “zoombombing” with pornographic images….. The question is whether the users should be deemed aware of such a vulnerability when using an open conferencing product. Zoom is suggesting that it can trace pranksters after-the-fact but that such conferencing has inherent vulnerabilities. It has also increased security and created educational posts on how to prevent uninvited participants. Yet, users insist that the company has a flawed product that has exposed users to the loss of privacy and disruptions in their meetings.
Another plague of biblical proportions is on the horizon
We are witnessing what may be the unfolding, in our lifetime, of events similar to those set out by Jesus in Matthew 24 and even evocative of the series of signs in the Book of Revelation. Our daily news is so filled with the coronavirus pandemic that many are failing to notice another event of great significance on the horizon, that may be of even more importance than Covid-19. It is a plague of locusts of biblical proportions that is developing at an alarming rate. This plague is already covering a huge swathe of territory across the Middle East and the Horn of Africa, and even spreading eastward to Pakistan and beyond.1 It threatens to bring starvation and impoverishment to millions of people if it is not controlled within the next few weeks. It has the potential of causing worldwide famine.

The evidence is overwhelming…… Whether in the world or the church, we see much the same thing happening in America. Anything is acceptable—except biblical Christianity. Public schools accommodate witches, homosexuals, and Muslims promoting their beliefs and practices. But Christianity, in the name of freedom, is outlawed. Let us not give up the fight for biblical truth, earnestly contending for the faith, once for all delivered to the saints.

Ecumenism & Catholicism - We have noted that the ecumenical movement plays a key role in forming the Antichrist's world religion, which will be a paganized Christianity such as was developed under Constantine and became Roman Catholicism. It is therefore not surprising that behind the scenes, the Catholic Church has been pushing ecumenism for years. It is not only drawing the "separated brethren" of Protestantism back into the fold, but uniting all religions under Rome, as Revelation 17 indicates.
A Catholic church in England is facing backlash for displaying Hindu, Buddhist and African idols in front of the altar for a service marking Pope Francis' pan-religious day of prayer.
On Thursday morning, the diocese of Brentwood tweeted a picture of the idols of Shiva and Buddha, alongside an icon of Jesus the Good Shepherd and an African carving advertising an "interfaith prayer service" to be held at the Church of the English Martyrs, Hornchurch, at 7 p.m.
He called the people of all faiths to unite, pray, and fast on the 14th of May. The entire humanity should ask "God to help humankind overcome the coronavirus pandemic," said Pope Francis….. Regarding her relationship to Islam, not only has she made to those of the Muslim faith some theological overtures which contradict Christian orthodoxy, but even worse, there are ties between the two religions which go a lot deeper than most people realize. Several weeks ago the Danish Bible Society, which is run by the Evangelical Lutheran Church, came under heavy fire for the Danish "translation" of the Bible that virtually wipes out "Israel" from the New Testament. In the Greek New Testament, the word "Israel" occurs more than 60 times, however it is found only once in the new Danish version called Bibelen 2020. That's right, just once. And that one occurrence is a direct quote from an Old Testament verse. Otherwise, "Israel" is gone…… Now the church is raising red flags with it's promotion of praying by addressing God as "Mother" instead of Father on it's official Facebook page as well as via Twitter: "Mother God, you have fed us with the nourishment of your spiritual food. Raise us up into salvation and rid us of our bitterness, so that we may share the sweetness of your holy word with all the world," the ELCA tweeted on Tuesday as part of their #Bread4theday series of Twitter posts.

How much of the Christian life should we be okay with doing on our own – COVID 19 or not – when it comes to the need for accountability, prayer, fellowship and having communion with the body? During a time of incredible growth in the early church, followers of Jesus Christ continually devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching (God’s Word) and to fellowship (community), to the breaking of bread (communion) and to prayer (Acts 2:42). This is THE model for the church and decades prior to the coronavirus crisis, American Christianity had strayed far from these roots.
Nearly 500 California pastors are preparing to open their doors on Sunday, May 31st - whether or not they have guidance from the state. "The churches are not asking for permission," said Bob Tyler, a religious freedom attorney advising the pastors. "The governor is sitting here as a dictator, trumping the Constitution and is kind of hanging on to this state of emergency for as long as he can hold it." Tyler says the pastors, including Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel in Chino Hills, Matt Brown of Sandals Church in Riverside, and Danny Carroll of Water of Life Community Church in Fontana, have signed a petition and plan to advise Gov. Gavin Newsom of their plans which include social distancing.

The Law Center says that Walz’s shutdowns unfairly impact small businesses while leaving big box retailers like Walmart unscathed. “Governor Walz’ scheme of selecting economic winners and losers by wholly shutting down some businesses while allowing others to remain open violates the Plaintiff businesses’ 14th Amendment due process and equal protection rights,” says Doug Seaton, a lawyer with the Center. “Target, Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS are open, while local Hallmark stores are closed. Golf courses and bait shops are open, but indoor amusement facilities are shut. Nobody can legally get a haircut, but dogs may now be groomed,” the Center adds, underscoring the unequal nature of the shutdown.
The New York Times generally ignores the global persecution of Christians, but a notable exception came Monday, when the Gray Lady published an article entitled “Sewer Cleaners Wanted in Pakistan: Only Christians Need Apply.” But the Times remains committed, like all of the establishment media, to ignoring or downplaying incidents of Islamic jihad and Sharia supremacism, and so it had to find a new culprit: discrimination against Christians in Pakistan, the Paper of Record would have us believe, is the fault not of the Muslim majority, but of another embattled minority: the nation’s Hindus.
Of the roughly $7 billion granted to the CDC in 2019, just less than half went to infectious disease efforts where most went to fight existing viruses. More than $600 million focused on animal-related diseases, only a third of which was directed towards emerging threats. In other words, CDC resources for rising pathogens such as the novel Wuhan coronavirus, which is supposed to strike at the core of the CDC’s mission, received far less concern than hyping a moral panic around vaping. “As its original name, the Communicable Disease Center implies, the initial purpose of the CDC was to assist the states in the control of infectious disease,” Minton wrote, noting that it came to be from efforts to combat malaria. Since its creation in 1946 Minton wrote, he CDC’s focus has expanded “to include conditions and diseases not caused by the spread of dangerous pathogens, but by lifestyle factors such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.”
The media's deranged fearmongering over Covid-19 has had terrible consequences.
The media in this country have no shame. For two months they’ve been ramping up fear and hysteria over Covid-19. They predicted apocalypse. They reported the daily death tolls like gleeful grim reapers. They said hospitals would be overwhelmed……They were reporting on new concerns about ‘collateral damage’ from the Covid crisis, including the fact that far fewer people have been attending A&E, and health services in general, and that this now seems to have caused numerous unnecessary deaths. (This isn’t actually a new concern, of course. spiked reported on it a month ago, in mid-April.)….. Meanwhile, the British Medical Journal this week reported that the ‘staggering number’ of deaths in the community over the past two months cannot be explained by Covid alone. ‘Only a third of the excess deaths seen in the community in England and Wales can be explained by Covid-19’, the BMJ says.
A second wave outbreak of the new coronavirus in China is now sweeping the county, and new lockdowns are being enforced in parts of Wuhan, Harbin, Heilongjiang, and elsewhere. In Wuhan’s Dongxihu district, where a residential community was recently locked down, videos emerged corroborating witness reports that metal plates are being used to seal entrances of buildings. Locals in the residential community told The Epoch Times in interviews there are about 5,000 people and 1,000 homes in the community, as well as several factories and businesses. And while Chinese authorities are requiring all 11 million people in Wuhan to be tested for the virus, videos showing medical workers not changing gloves between tests are raising concerns of unintended infections from the medical workers.

On Tuesday the US’s leading infectious disease expert Dr Anthony Fauci warned senators that a premature lifting of lockdowns could lead to new outbreaks of the deadly coronavirus.
Several states are preparing to ease restrictions related to the Coronavirus lockdowns, other states have extended the lockdowns, while a handful of states like South Dakota never imposed a statewide lockdown at all – why don’t we hear about this in the mainstream media?....... All of this is taking place as many states across the country are beginning to implement their contact tracing programs. Several of these states are calling on the National Guard to assist in their contact tracing programs and training has already begun. While it has been stated that the National Guard’s function is not a law enforcement role, their role is as a Public Health Service, it must be noted that the very foundation of the contact tracing program is not only tracking every individual and their contacts, but isolating and quarantining suspected individuals who are infected. So where does the line of law enforcement end and the function of a Public Health Service begin? Only time will tell.
“Whereas the COVID-19 pandemic is a grave matter at hand, it should not in any way be used to compromise the rights and dignity of the citizens” of Kenya, Bishop James Wainaina of the Diocese of Muranga said earlier this month, Catholic News Agency reported……. Bishop Wainaina was responding to reports that researchers currently developing COVID-19 drugs are planning on testing them in Kenya. The head of one such study, Dr. Loice Achieng Ombajo, says he got approval from one government review body and is awaiting word back from two others. But the bishop is concerned about the lack of public input on the approval process, as required by the country’s constitution.

The White House has set a target of having 300 million vaccine doses by the end of 2020. No such vaccine for this pathogen has been approved though a number are under development, and producing and distributing an effective vaccine are seen as key steps to jump starting the U.S. economy.

On Friday, Donald Trump announced his appointment of Moncef Slaoui, a former executive with vaccine manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline, to lead “Operation Warp Speed”, Trump’s plan to fast track the development of vaccines for COVID-19. Slaoui will serve in a volunteer position, assisted by Army Gen. Gustave Perna, the commander of United States Army Materiel Command. According to the Trump administration, the Operation Warp Speed program is focusing on four vaccines, with the hopes of testing and producing 100 million doses by October 2020, 200 million by December, and 300 million doses by January. At Friday’s press conference, Slaoui said he believes the goal of vaccines by January 2021 is a “credible goal”. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper was more adamant, stating that, “winning matters and we will deliver, by the end of this year, a vaccine”.

With such an intimate connection revolving around the Clinton Foundation’s healthcare projects, it should come as no surprise that PIH’s biggest donors and partners feature some of the largest pharmaceutical corporations currently set to profit from the COVID-19 pandemic, including Eli Lilly and Co., Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer among many more. Also found on the list of foundation partners, both public and private, are the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Inter-American Development Bank, USAID, WHO, GE, IBM and a host of others.

Danielle Anderson, who currently works at Duke University‘s NUS Medical School lab in Singapore, has already “debunked” numerous articles posted to Facebook that suggest the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) may have leaked from the Wuhan lab where we now know she used to test coronavirus on bats.
An unholy alliance of corporate tech giants, government and international agencies is working to narrow the range of acceptable debate about coronavirus. Since the beginning of this crisis, officialdom has talked up the threat posed to containing Covid by an ‘infodemic’ — the World Health Organisation’s cute phrase for the spread of misinformation online. Boston Dynamics’ dog-like robot, Spot, is being used in a park in Singapore to help encourage social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic. The robot can operate itself, but that’s not how it’s being used in Singapore, Boston Dynamics founder Marc Raibert said Friday on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.” “The robot isn’t really enforcing in Singapore. It’s just giving people information and encouraging them,” he said. “There’s a human nearby who can do whatever enforcement they decide is appropriate.” About 120 of the four-legged robots are being used in the world, with a variety of purposes, Raibert said. He said they will soon will be available for purchase on the company’s website. Currently, each sale is negotiated individually. Spot is being used in other ways during the public health crisis beyond just patrolling a park in Singapore, Raibert said. At Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, the robot is helping to screen patients for Covid-19.
Google will publish location data from its users around the world from Friday to allow governments to gauge the effectiveness of social distancing measures put in place to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, the tech giant said.The reports on users’ movements in 131 countries will be made available on a special website and will “chart movement trends over time by geography,” according to a post on one of the company’s blogs

Cyber experts slammed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his proposal to "microchip" children who return to schools and kindergartens as the coronavirus lockdown is lifted, Ynet reported on Friday. While speaking at a press conference on Monday, Netanyahu suggested the Health Ministry use new technology to help Israel adjust to its new routine as the state is lifting the coronavirus lockdown. "That is, technology that has not been used before and is allowed under the legislation we shall enact," he clarified.
Instead of handing out cash, the EU gives out loans. But that money they’re showing you, it’s going back into the magician’s pocket at the end of the show. Take last month's Eurogroup package deal. Finance ministers agreed to a €540 billion package to save the European economy. All of it is loans — for companies, states and workers — and all of it is to be repaid later. Liquidity problem solved, right?....... But what about the looming solvency problem? What happens when people aren’t able to repay their debts? How will states invest in their economies when all the taxes they collect will be used to repay their creditors? The Commission’s plan does not answer these questions. What the Commission's plan does answer is how this money should reach countries. It suggests beefing up its new “cash-for-reforms” program, saying it will draw up a list of reforms countries will have to undergo in order to access EU cash. These recommendations will then be approved by diplomats, without the blessing of elected MEPs. None of this will deliver the kind of support Europe needs to emerge from this crisis.
The EU’s anti-democratic nature has revealed itself yet again. Germany’s Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe dealt a huge blow to the EU’s legal order and its economic policy last week, and now Brussels is fighting back……. The judgement also declared that the European Court of Justice (ECJ), the court which oversees EU law, had acted beyond its powers in giving the ECB the green light. The German court gave the ECB a three-month ultimatum – if the ECB could not prove its bond-buying programme was ‘proportional’, Germany’s central bank, the Bundesbank, would no longer be allowed to participate in it.

THE EU HAS THREATENED THE UK with legal action over what it describes as “failure to comply” over free movement of people. The announcement came on the same day the European Court of Justice found in favour of the Commission and against the UK over a dispute about HM Treasury levying only 0% VAT on certain commodities derivative sales over many decades. The action was only brought in 2018 after the UK voted to leave the EU two years previously and has generally been viewed as a move by the Commission to gain negotiating leverage…… It is worth remembering the UK will not ‘leave’ the single market and customs union until transition – which is due to end on 31st December – is over.

If China has infiltrated the Maltese embassy in Brussels, then the EU hasn't been told about it, the bloc's foreign policy chief said. On Friday, a report in the French daily Le Monde said that Belgian intelligence sources believed Malta’s embassy in Brussels could have been bugged by Chinese spies. The Maltese government said that wasn't true. "I have been informed of this news but I only have the news from the press," Josep Borrell, the EU's top diplomat, said at the end of an online meeting of EU foreign affairs ministers.
China Daily, the mouthpiece of the ruling Communist Party, on Wednesday published a letter attributed to Chapuis and the ambassadors to China of the EU's 27 member countries calling for greater cooperation with Beijing. But the version that appeared on its website omitted a key reference to the fact the deadly pandemic originated in China and spread from there across the globe. Battu-Henriksson said "the decision to go ahead [with the letter], with considerable reluctance, was taken locally," adding that the ambassador did not consult with EEAS headquarters in Brussels beforehand. China says it has had 83,000 coronavirus infections with 4600 deaths. Most observers have scoffed at those numbers as being fake. But I don’t think there are many experts who predicted that the actual number of infections would be over 640,000. In those days, the city of Wuhan hosted a mass banquet for tens of thousands of people, and millions began traveling through for Lunar New Year celebrations. Germany’s largest newspaper Bild on April 15 stuck Beijing with a bill for €149 billion for damages inflicted on the country by the coronavirus pandemic. Germany says China sought to encourage positive COVID-19 comments - Chinese diplomats approached German government officials in an attempt to encourage them to make positive statements on how Beijing is handling the coronavirus pandemic, the German interior ministry said in a letter this month. “The German government is aware of individual contacts made by Chinese diplomats with the aim of effecting positive public statements on the coronavirus management by the People’s Republic of China,” said the letter, seen by Reuters on Sunday. “The federal government has not complied with these requests.

Congressional Democrats unveiled their latest proposal for COVID-19 relief spending, which totals $3 trillion and includes a bevy of left-wing agenda items unrelated to curbing the spread of the virus or alleviating the costs of government-mandated quarantine efforts…… The bill “includes the removal of safeguards in the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) that prevent taxpayer money from bailing out the billion-dollar abortion-giant Planned Parenthood,” March for Life added. “The bill would also allow federal tax dollars to pay for abortions through subsidized health care plans. And, at the state and local level, it authorizes over $900 billion in open-ended funding – so nothing would prevent this money from further subsidizing the abortion industry.

Between 2008 and 2016, UN agencies, influenced by left-leaning donor governments in Europe and the United States, to promote abortion as an international human right. Richard Burr steps down as Senate Intelligence Committee chairman amid insider trading investigation
North Carolina Sen. Richard Burr has stepped down as the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee amid an insider trading investigation. “Senator Burr contacted me this morning to inform me of his decision to step aside as Chairman of the Intelligence Committee during the pendency of the investigation," Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said in a statement Thursday. "We agreed that this decision would be in the best interests of the committee and will be effective at the end of the day tomorrow.” The Justice Department is investigating whether Burr, 64, improperly used information he learned through daily briefings in his role leading the committee to inform his trading decisions earlier this year. The North Carolina senator offloaded up to $1.7 million in stocks right before the coronavirus pandemic led to a stock market plummet.
On Sunday, Saudi journalist Abdelhameed al-Ghoban gave an interview to the BBC in Arabic. His remarks, which were translated by MEMRI, were devoid of nuance. "Today, the public is informed. Israel is an advanced country and we can benefit from it." Al-Ghoban's remarks are not a lone voice in the wilderness. During the Ramadan Muslim holy month, Saudi television networks broadcast two series that portray Jews and Israelis in a positive light.
The United States delivered a clear message to Jerusalem today – avoid further involvement of China in the Israeli economy. The message was one of the main reasons for the very short visit of American Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to Jerusalem — one day before the new cabinet is sworn in. “The fact that the visit takes place in these problematic times proves its urgency ” an Israeli source said. Pompeo came to Israel with a very strict message – stop all Chinese investment in Israel, either in high tech companies or infrastructure.…… Government officials and private sector experts estimate that Chinese investment in Israel has reached 40 billion shekels ($11.4 billion) over the years. Chinese companies bought one of Israel’s largest dairy products companies, and have won tenders and operating franchises to build the Carmel tunnels in Haifa, the Ashdod and Haifa ports and the Tel Aviv Light Train. The Israeli security organizations are very concerned about Chinese involvement, especially at two strategic sites where the sensitivity is particularly high. One is control of the light train now being built here that passes close to Kirya, the site that includes the Ministry of Defense, IDF headquarters and the air force’s high command. Israeli sources told Breaking Defense that the new demands by the US will create problems in some major infrastructure projects. They concede that not complying with the U.S demands will have worse results for Israel.
Even before the new government has been sworn in, the fight over sovereignty has begun. Firstly: the terminology. The Left insists on the term "annexation," instead of the more accurate legal term: "application of sovereignty." This isn't a coincidence. Although from the perspective of international law there's never been another recognized sovereign entity here, beyond the British Mandate's written acknowledgment of the Jewish people's national right to their historical homeland, the champions of a Palestinian state choose to say "annexation." It stems from the same lexicon as "occupation," and its purpose is to linguistically erase our historical and legal rights to our land.

Group including China Harbour wins tender for Israeli power plant - Israel Electric Corp (IEC) said on Tuesday it will sell its Alon Tavor power plant to a group that includes China Harbour Engineering for 1.87 billion shekels ($523 million). The group — also comprised of Mivtach Shamir Holdings and Rapac Energy — won a tender for the plant in the wake of a government reform from 2018 that opens the electricity sector to competition and breaks up the monopoly held by IEC, Israel’s state-owned utility.
As Pompeo visited Israel this week for a brief eight-hour stint, State Department officials said a main issue of discussion was Washington’s concerns over Israel’s trade relationship with China, citing its lack of transparency and problematic trade practices. Senior security officials in both countries have sounded alarm bells over Chinese involvement in infrastructure projects, warning they are a security risk and could jeopardize ties with the US.
According to the ICC's charter, the Court cannot investigate the conduct of non-signatory states of the 1998 Rome Statute that established the Court. Israel, like the U.S., is not a signatory of the statute. Bensouda, by accepting the Palestinian Authority (PA) as plaintiff, further violates the Rome Statute: the ICC is only permitted to investigate allegations brought by a sovereign state. There is no State of Palestine. There are no established boundaries of any possible future Palestinian state. There is no population of a sovereign state to act as a plaintiff.... A recent Jordanian newspaper article reinforces the claim that Bensouda secretly colluded with the PA to target Israel. This collusion between Bensouda and the PA may explain the optimism of longtime Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat that the ICC's investigation will ultimately be successful.
Jordan’s King Abdullah has warned that should Israel move forward with plans to annex parts of the West Bank, it would lead to a “massive conflict” with his country, and did not rule out pulling out of Amman’s peace deal with the Jewish state. In an interview published Friday by the German daily Der Spiegel, Abdullah insisted that a two-state solution was “the only way forward” in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. ““What would happen if the Palestinian National Authority collapsed? There would be more chaos and extremism in the region. If Israel really annexed the West Bank in July, it would lead to a massive conflict with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,” he said, when asked by his interviewer about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s intention to “take advantage of the opportunity that [US President Donald] Trump has created to seize large parts of Palestine.
Just hours before Israel’s new government was supposed to be sworn in Thursday evening, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Benny Gantz asked for the ceremony to be postponed until Sunday due to infighting within Netanyahu's Likud party. The two men said in a statement Netanyahu needed more time to hand out coveted ministerial appointments to members of the Likud party. It is the latest bump in a long 18-month road of political chaos that has paralyzed the country. Israel was hoping Thursday evening would mark the end of the political deadlock after three inconclusive elections.
Lately they’ve been calling Benjamin Netanyahu “Houdini.” In three elections since April 2019, he hasn’t won. Yet he’s come out on top—again—as prime minister, and his new government will be sworn in early next week. In all three of those elections, Netanyahu’s right-wing bloc actually soundly defeated the left-wing bloc. Yet, for different reasons, his bloc couldn’t reach a 61-seat majority in the Knesset—first because of a renegade right-wing party that broke away from the bloc, then because of an Israeli Arab party whose electoral gains didn’t leave enough seats for a right-wing parliamentary majority.
Over the past two years, Israel has been conducting frequent "preemptive strikes" intended to disrupt Iran's efforts to qualitatively upgrade the threat to Israel posted by its proxies in Lebanon and Syria by arming them with "game changing" PGMs. This campaign has been dubbed the "war between wars" (or "campaign between wars") by the Israeli defense establishment….. Even a small number of PGMs getting through could be devastating, Schanzer explained: One PGM getting through to, for example, the chemical plant in Haifa could be the equivalent of a chemical weapons attack. This past Monday, April 20th, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif met with Syrian President Bashar Assad in Damascus, which according to Mehr news was to reaffirm Iran’s increasing role in Syria. On Monday night, at least 10 Hezbollah terrorists were killed in an alleged Israeli airstrike in the Palmyra region in the center of Syria.
France is urging its European Union partners to consider threatening Israel with a tough response if it goes ahead with a de facto annexation of parts of Judea and Samaria, three EU diplomats said. Belgium, Ireland and Luxembourg also want to discuss the possibility of punitive economic measures during a foreign ministers' meeting on Friday, the diplomats told Reuters, though all member states would have to agree to any collective action. Britain also said it would not support an Israeli annexation, arguing it would make a two-state solution with the Palestinians more difficult to achieve, junior Foreign Office minister James Cleverly said on Monday. French police have arrested an Afghan national following the brutal murder of a prominent activist in northern France who helped migrants. The 63-year-old was bludgeoned to death.….Cherbourg prosecutor Yves Le Clair told the Agence France-Presse news agency (AFP) that the 20-year-old attacker had likely come to Dussine's house with the intention of killing him. Le Clair said that the suspect had confessed to killing the retired teacher but "has given no information on what motivated his actions or on his relationship to the victim." Calais Jungle volunteers accused of 'sexually exploiting' camp's refugees - Volunteers in the Calais Jungle have been accused of sexually exploiting refugees and even child migrants….. Charity leaders working in the area have confirmed there is a serious problem, with worries about predatory behaviour by both male and female volunteers. But they say it is difficult to control due to the absence of universal humanitarian standards in the Jungle, meaning there are no official aid organisations on the ground and no controls over who can enter to volunteer. Clare Mosely, founder of Care4Calais, one of the biggest charities working there, which has a zero tolerance policy regarding relationships with refugees, said: "At the end of the day it isn't recognised as an official refugee camp, it's an illegal settlement. So we’ve got no way of forcing anyone to leave. That is the difficulty."
Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist group dedicated to the destruction of Israel, is apparently very pleased with Human Rights Watch (HRW), an international organization headquartered in New York. Hamas is so pleased that this week it issued a statement praising HRW for its systematic and continuous bashing of Israel. It is rather rare for a radical Islamic terrorist group to heap praise on a Western supposed human rights organization, particularly an American one. Exceptions exist in all areas, however, and HRW, known for its anti-Israel bias and for peddling anti-Israel hate, stands as an especially blazing one. What motivated Hamas to express its admiration for HRW? Another anti-Israel report, this time claiming that Arab citizens of Israel are facing a "housing shortage."
The use of charity to advance radical ideologies is hardly a novel idea. European fascist movements built a base of support through charitable programs and promises of social welfare. The Ku Klux Klan delivered food and medicine to poor white communities. Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, Khomeinists, Wahhabis, ISIS, and al-Qaeda have all made use of charities and welfare programs to propagate and consolidate their control over Muslim communities…… Founded in 1984, InterAction is the largest alliance of international NGOs in the world, comprising over 180 separate groups "working to eliminate extreme poverty, strengthen human rights and citizen participation, safeguard a sustainable planet, promote peace, and ensure dignity for all people." As delightful as this sounds, federal agencies, foreign governments, journalists, and independent researchers have repeatedly found that a number of InterAction's member-bodies work towards a very different set of ideals. In fact, InterAction members include several radical Islamic charities tied directly to criminal or terrorist activity.

It is therefore high time for the European Union (EU) to join the international consensus in ceasing its differentiation between Hezbollah’s so-called “political” and “military” wings, and outlaw the entire organization…… Currently, Hezbollah has more than 120,000 rockets pointed at Israel, in violation of United Nations Resolution 1701. In Yemen, Hezbollah has been active in support of the Iran-backed Houthis. In Bahrain, security forces face continuous threats from Hezbollah-aligned organizations. The list goes on…… In Europe, Hezbollah is known for its criminal activities, including money laundering, drug trafficking, counterfeiting currency and clothing, as well as fundraising and recruiting people for its so-called “charity” programs. It has assassinated opponents and bombed innocent civilians. It has become undeniable over the years that Hezbollah equals terrorism, crime and a significant security threat. It was therefore a positive step that the so-called “military” wing of Hezbollah was placed on the EU terrorism list in 2013. The E.U. announced at the beginning of May that it was sending an additional $41 million to the P.A., as part of a total package of $76 million being given to help the P.A. deal with the coronavirus outbreak. The money is to be used, however, to pay salaries of civil servants, rather than on PPE, ventilators, ICU beds, and medical personnel. This is one more example of the continuing failure of the E.U. to recognize the main source of the P.A.’s financial distress: its greedy and grasping leaders, who steal so much of the aid money for themselves. The Palestinians themselves are aware of how corrupt their leadership is, but can do little about it. A year ago, documents were leaked online showing that in 2017, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas had quietly agreed to increase monthly salaries of his ministers by 67 percent, from $3,000 to $5,000, as well as boosting his own salary from $4,000 to $6,000 a month. According to the Associated Press, the raises were kept secret from the public and approved by Abbas. Once the raises were made public, the succeeding uproar caused Abbas to promise to rescind those secret raises. But did he? We know that Abbas rewards his loyalists with sums far beyond what they receive in salaries. Hanan Ashrawi has mysteriously become a multi-millionaire over the past two years, with a net worth of $5 million; Saeb Erekat now has about $2 million. It’s not possible, on their stated salaries, for them to have accumulated so much. But what Palestinian is going to dare to investigate?
Is there a leftward movement of diaspora Jews? I took part in a webinar organised by EMET, the Endowment for Middle East Truth, which does sterling work defending Israel against the calumnies that distressingly pass for received wisdom in so much of the west. At this webinar, which was attended by more than 430 people, Caroline Glick and I were talking about the state of the Jewish community in the US and Britain. We discussed the scourge of antisemitism, the contribution to this of left-wing politics and whether or not the leadership of the Jewish community was adequately confronting this.
The revelation, which a senior US government official confirmed was done unintentionally, appears to raise questions about Saudi Arabia’s possible connection to the terrorist attack. It also highlights the unusual efforts of senior Trump administration officials in recent months to prevent the publicity of domestic documents related to the incident, Fars News reported.
